Narrative
Samples
is a writer of poetry and journalism, as well as an artist and musician. Her work has appeared in various magazines including "Clamor," "BUST," "Moxie," "Rockrgrl," "Knock," "Raven Chronicles," "Poeticdiversity," and "The Stranger." A member of ASCAP, her music has been released on numerous CDs, and her art and photography have shown in several group shows. She has taught creative writing to incarcerated youths, as well as zine editing and publishing at youth-focused conferences in Oakland and Seattle. She is finishing her MA in English at California State University, Dominguez Hills, in Los Angeles, while revising her poetry for publication.
